In Sanatan Dharma, the Gaushala (cow shelter) holds deep spiritual and cultural significance. As part of our sacred tradition, after the completion of temple rituals, the local villagers have lovingly taken responsibility for managing the Gaushala.
According to ancient scriptures like the Padma Purana, a Gaushala where more than a hundred cows are lovingly cared for โ under both sun and shade โ becomes a place of divine blessings.
Here, each cow is provided regular, nourishing feed, and their daily diet is carefully monitored. With deep devotion, oil is offered along with food as Bhog (sacred offering) โ symbolizing complete surrender and service.
Special attention is paid to the health and wellbeing of every cow. As devotees chant โKya Chhupa Mera?โ (What remains hidden from the Divine?), they walk around the Gaushala in reverence, feeling deeply connected to Gau Mata.
When you step down into the Gaushala grounds, you're greeted by a heart-touching scene โ cows peacefully moving, the air filled with love and seva (service). Itโs a rare sight that brings inner peace to every cow lover and spiritual seeker.
Each day, Gopal ji (cow caretakers), blessed with divine dedication, serve the cows under the guidance of experienced elders. The Gaushala runs with structured discipline and daily service, overseen with love and devotion.
Under the spiritual leadership of Dr. Suresh Dashora, the temple premises also offer darshan (sacred viewing) of the Gaushala as part of the temple experience.
You too can contribute your part to this sacred cause. Let your hands join in the service of Gau Mata and Narayan Seva.
๐ May Maa Lodhikhand Devi bless you and fulfill your deepest wishes. ๐
